National
Arborist Association
Eastwood
Tree Services Ltd are members of the National Arborist Association.
The NAA is a trade association of commercial tree care firms established
in 1938.
The association develops safety and education programs,
standards of tree care practice, and management information for arboriculture
firms around the world.
Arboricultural Association
As
a member of the Arboricultural Association, Eastwood Tree Services
Ltd are currently the only Arboriculture Approved Contractor
in Suffolk.
To obtain their approval, examiners have to be satisfied
that the quality of our work, the experience and ability of our staff
and our attitude to customers reaches their exacting standards. Unlike
some trade organisations, the Arboricultural Association actually carries
out a thorough examination of each company before approval and requires
that after approval each company has to submit proof of adequate insurance
cover and qualification details of each member of staff every year.
Each company is reassessed every 5 years.
The Arboricultural Association operates a complaints
procedure that, in the unlikely event of a problem that cannot be resolved
directly between the customer and contract, provides the customer with
the opportunity of third party arbitration.
International
Society of Arboriculture
Arboriculture On-line was developed to assist tree
care professionals in developing and maintaining effective plant health
care programs. It is produced by The International Society of Arboriculture
(ISA) and the University of Illinois Cooperative States Research, Education,
and Extension Service (ICSREES). The Arboriculture and Plant Health
Care (PHC) World Wide Web Server has been developed to assist tree care
professionals in developing and maintaining PHC programs. The International
Society of Arboriculture (ISA) is offering a one-stop service with links
to electronic information at universities, extension services, and other
institutions throughout the world that provide up-to-date research-based
plant health care information. We sincerely hope that this information
will help tree care professionals develop and maintain active plant
health care programs.
